PRESERVE ONE OF THE LARGEST CONTINUOUS STRETCHES OF WETLANDS

Exploring the Tagus estuary, to birdwatch or simply to admire nature, is truly an enriching experience at any time of the year.
It is during the winter months that the largest number of waterfowl can be observed, surpassing 120,000 individuals; in the periods of active migration (spring and autumn), the species diversity is at its highest, making it easier to observe over 100 species of birds in a single day; in the summer, the estuary is used as nesting grounds for a wide range of species, many of them from Africa.

Marina Parque das Nações is privileged to be situated on the North bank of the Tagus Estuary
