Marina Parque das Nações encourages you to try out our sailing lessons, allowing anyone either to initiate or enhance their sailing skills, from basics to competition levels. The MPN Sailing Academy, powered by Terra Incognita is a sailing academy focused on the adult public.
TYPE OF BOATS
Grand Surprise – 9,54 m (7 students + instructor)
First Class – 7,5 m (5 students + instructor)
These sailing yachts can also be rented for a day of half-day events, stages at sea, Sunset Trips and Team Building activities.
SAILING COURSES SCHEDULE
The sailing courses are taught by experienced instructors and take place every weekend, the course plan consists of 8 classes with the duration of 4 hours each.
You can choose one of the following schedules, with the possibility to recover lost lessons. (Dependent on the available vacancies)

* NOTE * In the event of bad weather or technical impossibility to have the sailing class, Marina Parque das Nações reserves the right to delay or even cancel these sailing lessons without notice. This situation does not warrant the partial refund of the registration fee, but we will do everything to make it up to our athletes. (Subject to vacancies).
RECOMMENDED CLOTHING FOR SAILING
- Non tight fitting trousers
- Gloves (with only 2 fingers cut)
- Sailing shoes (adherent) or Tennis
- Hat
- T-shirts or Sweat-shirts
- Sunglasses
- Waterproof jacket
- Sunscreen
- Note: On rainy days, bring a change of clothes
